Default Buckets of big fishes...yep pics

Been at lake for a few days. Had plenty of rain and wind. ..

Took time to break in my new engine. Boat handled the 3 foot Big Sandy waves easily. Had a few breaks in the wind and rain, so i conjured up a "mess o fish". I cast some with roadrunner with chartreuse curly tail. It worked in shallow waters (6-8ft). Caught most fishes on small minners and peaches and cream jig curly tails. The bite was soft except with the roadrunner. I like throwing the roadrunners.

Fish were scattered. Caught some in 12-15 ft, some 8-10 ft, and some 6-8 foot. Water temp varied with location on the lake...54 to 58 degrees. Fish were pretty much where I figured the to be though.:D

I had several males over 2 pounds. It was tough fishing on the Big Sandy River.

I gave some young fellers a bucket of fish. They were struggling.

I did all right for an old man. Had a large time.

    Tom

Roadrunner caster, eh? Should've known :D.

Those are some good lookin' fish, just waiting to be suited.
I wish I was still fishing 58degree water...it was much quieter.

congrats on the catch and breaking in that new lamborghini.

Leave Sean Connery at home next time.
