    Default Jig Body Molds

Does anybody know where I can get some jig body molds made. There are a few styles I would like to pour, but don't know where to get molds made.

    Thanks,

    Brad

Here you go Brad, I wouldnt recommend getting started making your own plastic body's. Its like crack, one you start you cant stop. If you need some help shoot me a pm I make mostly tubes and slab slayer style. Aluminum molds are nice but costly. I would also recommend a place with good ventilation.

Default Interested in Slab Slayer mold

Could you post a pic of what your slab slayer finished product looks like? Does it have a straight tail that is tapering / fluted? I would like to make my own, but I also want to see if I can make one that has a fatter body, like a beaver tail width.

Boy you got that right. Once I got my mold it was like I could not stop making jigs. It is fun to try and come up with different colors but boy you sure can come up with some that should probably be put in the trash. But then again you never know, the fish might like them. it is a lot of fun and before you know it you have got tons of jigs. On one saturday I made 2700 jigs. Won't run out for a while.

    Ted,

I found four different people willing to make the molds. I'm just waiting now for some quotes and will go from there.

Let you know when I find out.

The over the phone approximate was $200-$450 for an alumnium mold.
