    Default Sickle Hooks?

I bought some #4 aberdeen gold sickle hooks on sale I thought I'd use for fishing minnows. I haven't used them yet. I have noticed that they are stronger than my light wire aberdeens. A negative in brush, but I thought they might work ok under a light at night in open water. Anybody tried them yet?

Oh yeah...use them strickly on my jigheads now. They hold minners real well when hooking them through the nose.

You won't lose as many fish with a sickle!

I have straightened Sickle Jigs out in brush also.

I tried Sickle hooks and the ones I had were also made with a thicker wire and didn't straighten out near as easily as the extra light wire Eagle Claws I normally use, they were super sharp and hookups were good with them though.
