    Angry another day no crappie


    well loaded up the boat and a friend and we hit the lake but it was still froze over for the most part and was down in water so no crappie but 1 walleye 1 bass and 1 pickrel caught the pickrel on the roadrunner the buddie was using jerk baits and caught the others but it was cold i tell ya about 33 air with wind and the water is slowly warming up it was a cool 40 degrees . may try again tomm. at a differant lake to see what i can find . hope soon i'm getting nervous .

    Good report, they haven't been biting real good here in Hampton Roads either. They should be soon though.

    I'm going tomorrow here in the Ohio river tribs. 1st day I've had off work and it's turning colder again. Just my luck.

    am hoping to go again tomm. but might have to watch the kids and like kycreek said it's gonna get colder tomm and the rest of the week maybe it will warm up some . i tried another lake today and the water temp was only 37 and only got about 1 hour of fishing in before the wind started and it about blowed the boat like a toilet bowl . so i gave up couldn't hold the boat still no matter what .
