    Looking to build my own and need some ideas! I'm sure there are more than a few on this forum that have figured out a good and cheap method so post 'em! thanks,

    do a search for rod holders they are a lot of them
    The fishing was good,it was the catching that was bad

    Slablicious is trying to get some help on his rod holder setup - fyi slablicious i use the smith rod holders sold at Grizzly Jig they are inexpensive, come with removeable bases, and work great! And the one cityboy has there looks good too!

    creekslick, are those in the first pic made of PVC pipe? I have tried to come up with a cheep way to make my own. that first pic might be a useable set up for me?

    Yes they are 6" sch 40 PVC. I don't have one here with me to measure but I think I made them 3" wide with 1 1/2 holes. I used a plastic dip to coat them with so they are not so ruff on my rod handles
