    Caught these Thursday, 50 Three largest were 1lb ers the rest were bigger then hand size

    Labill;; Thank's to you and Crappypappy you can teach a old dog new trick's.
    Wannalearn;; I usally just scale-em Take the bottom fin and dorsel fin outby kinda filleting them on top like butterflying them then fry whole then as they fry the top just splits away from the bone looks like a butterfly shrimp

    That will make a good fish fry. If you don't mind, I have a suggestion-cut the fish behind the gill until you get to the bone. Then cut along the bone until you get to the tail. Don't cut the meat completely off. Just roll the cut over and cut along the skin just like you did the bone. Then turn the fish over and do the same thing. Most people call this method filleting. You won't have as many bones this way. It takes a lot of practice, but practice makes perfect. My dad once said the worst part of the fish to eat is the skin(Besides the guts and head).
