My son-in-law smoked some Mallards. They were terrific! None of them were left after I got through.

Never had them smoked. I usually wrap with bacon, marinade in itailian dressing and throw on the grill. Cover with pepperjack cheese with a couple jalapano peppers (yeah, pronounced ja lap an no ). Good stuff
Marinate overnight with alittle game ease and milk.Cut into 3-4 inch long strips wrap around a whole chestnut, wrap bacon around and toothpick sprinkle alittle seasoning of your choice and throw on grill just till bacon is done. Remove toothpick Pop the whole thing in your mouth and enjoy.Ziplock bag some of these and take with on future hunts and i assure you your shooting skills will improve so ya can make some more.:D
Duck makes great jerky!!

Yes,
I have smoked many duck and geese breasts and they are great!!!!!!!You just put in a bowl pour coke on them (enough to cover breast totally) soak overnight. Then salt and pepper to taste put on smoker next morning. I use a brinkman smoker and pour the coke in the water pan along with water. Take them off about noon and enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!:D:D
