Tobesofkee Lake Level Drop Extended

Homeowners on Lake Tobesofkee will get a few extra days to shore up their docks and seawalls.

On Thursday the Bibb County Board of Commissioners voted to keep the Lake Tobesofkee water level down until February 8, 2009. The water level was originally scheduled to be raised January 30th. The vote gives lake residents an extra seven days to complete work on their docks.

Lake Tobesofkee was dropped six feet for repairs the first week of December.

Any word on when they will re-open Arrowhead?

I heard they may open Arrowhead this next fall, I don't know what's taking so long, it looks like its pretty well cleaned up to me. I'll be glad when they do open it, it's closer.
