make them 640x480 pixels or close to that as you can and it will fit the internet. Also the bigger your pics are the closer you will be to out of room on this site. You can put a lot on here before you have to go back and delete your old stuff, but it can happen.
Skip
Pics will only show at the size you upload them into Photobucket. Skip is right ... using the "Large 640x480" size option, when you upload them into Photobucket, will insure that they will always post in the size of the first picture (best size for message boards)
You can also use the URL code, rather than the IMG code ... and it will put a highlighted link in your post (rather than the actual picture), then when someone clicks on the link to see the pic ... it will open a seperate window with the picture in it.
Second picture will show on your post, like this :
