and you're right on the boat traffic. We went for a 4 day camping/fishing trip to Lake of the Woods in southwester MI and the traffic was heavy also. You did better than we did.
PS had my lucky C.COM shirt on too, but it didn't work this time
Lots of big boat traffic this past weekend. Went out Sat morning a got about 15 and gave them to the neighbors (fish fry). Got these dozen Sunday morning. I was out only 3 hours. Got too hot and the big boats were plowing the water pulling those water boarders. They all had to show me how good the were at boarding. It ok. They gotta have fun too. Water was rougher that the Mayport, Fl. Jetties.
Water surface temp was 87 to 89 degrees. I was fishing one pole Ky rig. Best way to get them this time of the year. The fishes were deep in the brush and hanging out about 12 ft on the drops. I will take any JIG HEAD on this time of the year.
I had a real large time.

Good job CP. I'm glad you were able to get out and have some success.
cleon a ky rig is when you tie a two hooks to your fishing line seperated 12"-18" apart and at the bottom of the fishing line you have a 1oz bell sinker or heavier (12"-18" from the closet hook). It's also called a bottom bumping rig just depending where you're from. Some guys use use swivels with leader line to tie the hooks, but i just tie the hooks to the main line using loops.
I'm new to this site and was wondering where i could get me one of those lucky t-shirts/decals?
Was that a bite?
