    Default Fishing last week

My brother-in-law is 15 and doesn't get a chance to do much fishing. Last week he came down and stayed with us and painted our office and did some odd jobs to earn a little cash before summer was over. A couple nights after work I took him out to the local lake to catch some channels, we had a good time and caught a lot of little ones and a couple nice keepers between 2-6 lbs. The kid had a blast. He was setting in his chair with his rod laid across his lap telling me about playing summer ball when a nice cat took his bait and made a run, almost pulling his rod in the water. He about fell on the ground trying to get out of his chair to start reeling. Needless to say he got the fish in and we shared a good laugh. Here's a couple pics. The first is the fish he caught, the second is my brother in law watching a beaver about 30 yards away munching on some greens on the other bank.

Men and fish are alike. They both get into trouble when they open their mouths.
