    Default Manchac cats

Got an early start this morning to try to catch some bait (skipjack),could only muster a few but this is what I traded em in for.The big blues were busting the top everywhere feeding on blue crabs swimming with the tide.I never realized how agressive these fish really are.

BB I've always wondered about the fishing around Manchac. We go eat at Middendolf all the time and I alway ride on Hwy 51 to get there. I just love the scenery. Do you fish from a boat or from the bank. When ever I go I only see a few boats along the Interstate but never any boats or anyone fishing in the passes. The waters there look very fishy.

If you go past middendorfs ,the public launch is about a 1/4 mile north of there on the left, beautiful launch, no problems.

Once again thanks. I have seen the launch you speak of as I have passed there on my way north after eating at Middendolf and then going either to get strawberries or visit Ponchatoula. I appreciate the info.
