Dexter looks excited about the fresh musrooms complimenting his kibble
I know this is a crappie fishing site but since these go sooooo good with crappie I decided to post the pic....almost 4 pounds of mushrooms. My buddy (Dexter the black lab) and I went out for a couple of hours today and came home with these. This is in addition to the nice mess my wife and I found on Thursday evening after work. Gonna be eating some tasty mushrooms for a while around our house.

i don't each many mushrooms and the ones i do eat i'm not crazy about. How do those taste are they soggy or crunchy. I always up for new things. can i find some of those in Alabama
Hey where's my float.
Rev - Go to www.morel.com - The website lists threads by state and Alabama is on the website. Just from reading what the guys in Alabama post, I think morels are scarce south of Birmingham. Also the season is probably over down there for this year.
