john h, I undertstand your fustration, we all have those little things that get under our skin.
I try to keep in mind that this is a FREE site and hope it remains so. I suggest we just ignore them and hope the site owner gets a little revenue from it.
I once complained to my son that I dfidn't like the way my hotmail was done- He just said to threaten to pay them less. lol Mike

I go to so many other places that have em, I don't even notice em anymore, I just focus on what I'm lookin for, get er done, and move along, etc, etc.

Just use Firefox as your browser and install the AdBlock Plus addon and no more google adds. Actually no more ads of any kind. Long live Firefox and Opera!!
