I have not been on the lake in over a week due to travel, etc. What is the status of the crappie bite now as compared to about 10 days ago. How bad has the cold and wind affected the fish? The lake has been about stable during this period.

Hopefully I can get back out there later this week and catch up!

Well for me ten days ago was paradise. Now it is slow slow slow for me.

Went Wensday morning the 20th, managed to land 14 out of blackwater 12" to 14". They were real funny only would hit a jig with minnow lightly. The water is about 7 to 8 feet deep, I fished two poles one at 3' and one at 5', both caught about equal amount. Then at 11 am it was all over. The fish finder showed lots of fish hanging at 5' through out the area with the biggest concentrated right in the middle of those long trees. The femals then held eggs.
