I'm not sure what he is asking but I would like to know a better way to keep them active and alive. I use an aerater and keep the water cool but I still lose a ton of them.

I add shad keeper to the bucket, in addition to the aereator and, in the summer, a scoop of ice every now and then.

Are you guys using a filter as well as an air pump? These are 2 critical pieces in the minnow puzzle.

I live in Washington state. It is illegal to posses live fish for bait use on gamefish. So i would like to know if there is a cure for toughening the minnows when they are dead.
