Peraonally I like a little cheese with my whine. I'll bet, if it were known, that there are thousands, if not millions, of gallons of gas burned going through drive throughs.

I used to have this great argument (last oil crisis) where I would stop at stupid stop lights, look both ways, then go, argument to cop would be that I was being safe AND saving gas ! !
That worked great (in my mind) till I finally got stopped, then it stopped workin and I had to pay the fine, etc. Cop didn't give a dam*ed bout my argument or sense of logic ")

I turn my car off when waiting in lines - banks, drive throughs, train crossings, etc.

Sitting in line sure wastes a lot. Not much since in wasting all that gas driving to McDonalds and then sitting in a line and then driving home. Cook your own!! Lots cheaper and BETTER!
