New Camaro???

Ya'll seen any of the sneak peeks? 2010 I think they said.

I have been GM thru and thru my whole life (never mind the Dodge :rolleyes
but I just can't help feeling a little let down by what I'm seeing with
the Camaro. Ford (Mustang) and Dodge (Challenger) I felt really hit the
mark, nailed it - new Camaro I'm kinda scratching my head...

But with gas prices, and me turning into an old fogey who never drives
fast anymore, I guess there are worse problems than the new musclecars

Caught first crankbait fishies of the year this past wkend, few but good
size - slow getting wound up this year. Partly just me, but it's been a

I saw pics. Looks like a cross between a Mustang and a Dodge charger. But, the all look a lot alike to me anymore. I don't know what they are 'til I see an emblem, then, I'm still confused as I don't know half of the emblems. I am a lost soul.

I agree that Chevy missed it if they were after a retro look. I think most of the car companies have except Ford. I thought they did a pretty good job on the Mustang especially when they changed the headlights. Maybe being a gearhead in the early 70's just has me leaning toward the old cars.

GEES, hate to be the only t**d in the punch bowl here, but that thing has 1967 written all over it.. I'm not a GM fan, but that looks great.. The only thing wrong with the looks is those low profile tires.. Just my $.02..

Kinda cool I think. The retro cars "look" ok to me, but I still wish I had this baby back. Yea, it burnt gas, but at least *I* could work on it! I knew how to change the oil, set the timing, change the plugs and points etc...

The air would frost over the chrome vents too, which came in good in that spacey back seat on a warm summer night......parked at the airport..ah memories. :D
