Yes I use that color combo alot also,it works for me.
probably my favorite go to color is a yellow and white tube jig, i use it in clear and muddy water and it seems to be even a little better in muddy water. i've never heard much about anyone using yellow and white and was wondering if anyone else uses it much?

I use it alot as the spawn is winding down. It always seems to produce well in May for some reason. I catch alot of crappie on it. Catfish also love this color. I spider rig fro crappie and when I start using the yellow/white jig I usually catch catfish on it every time.
that is my best tube jig color fish it alot
Wally calls it "corn on the cob". Good color

I dont even have that color. That's why I read all this stuff.Ill put a few in my box now.
I tied a few of this combo for a guy a while back, I added them to my box and have done well on yellow and white bucktails in saltwater. Haven't had a chance to try them for panfish.
I use to use yellow and white on a regular basis. I caught them in clear and muddy water on this color. I seemed to do better in muddy water though. There are several shades of this color and even the ever so slightest difference can be the difference between loading the boat and not catching any at all. I experienced this on several occasions. So if you try one shade of yellow and white and it does not work, if you have another shade that is very close in color, atleast give it a try.
