Wish it was that simple. The problem with organics is that it usually takes more than 1 gal of fosiel fuel to make a 1 gal of biofuel. I was watching a progarm the other night about turning coal into a liquid fuel. The last time they started to go large scale with it the Arabs opend the valves and the price of oil droped 20%. Hope someone comes up with something soon that is not just another way to screw the public. We had two gasahol plants built down here in the 70's that were built using the tax payers money. They ran for six weeks, which was exactly the length of time the government contract required. After that they shut the door and never produced a drop. Guess who paid for the plant.

I hope they figure something out soon. Gas is outragous, and the thing is that the already rising food and every other product prices are only going to go higher.

Ever thought of gas prices as a terrorist move to cripple us and bring the worlds largest super power to their knees?... you know most of the oil producing countries hate us anyway. or am i in left field

we are not running out of oil. Arabs and oil companies are just milking us. The tree huggers enable these bone heads to do as they wish with oil supply/demands.

Fully agree with you Tom. But, if this technology is correct, the Arab Nations National product will once again be sand.
