Here's an idea, where you can put more than one light out and hit a few spots in one night, not having to wait for one light to draw fish in.

The shade is made of tin. It was a rectangle, and I rolled it to the general form I wanted and used a marker to mark where it needed cut down to with tin snips. A little trial and error got it to work. I ran screws through the 2 sides, then taped the rough edges. I have 2 of these that I anchor out, not to far from the boat. I can fish a few different spots each night. I was shown this by a erie minnow farmer. I was amazed at the baitfish these draw in.
How do you go about anchoring them ? Now if I got it right it looks like a kids noodle is shaped into a circle and 2x6 is tied to it and then a hole is cut in the center and the lantern is secured with a bungee or something similar....that about right ? How did you get the noodle to stay in a circle ? thanks for any help.....

the way it looks in the driveway, it looks like it will light up a big area.
it looks as wide as the driveway. Great light.
Fishing is a way of life. Teach your grandchildren to fish, hunt and enjoy the outdoors
That is a good idea.
