Yeah, and they catch anything...
Anyone ever trolled the tiny traps from rattle trap with any success? Looks like to me they would work good. CF

Yeah, and they catch anything...
I got one of the 1/4 oz bleeding blue/silver ones last week and put it in the water Sunday caught a LMB and Sand bass on it.

They can be a great bait for Crappie with the right conditions.
We used to go to Dardanelle Lake in the Spring and when the males were up prepping the beds, the females were staged out over the edge of the channels.
Started over 4ft of water where the traps would dig their nose into the bottom. Had to lift the poles up slightly to keep them from snaggin'.
Speed of the boat was set to where the tips of your poles would just start to show the vibration of the bait.
As soon as the traps clears the top edge of the channel, Whammo....Crappie. Couldn't catch the crappie as well with jig and minnow, so we stuck to the traps. Other years the traps didn't do squat. I keep them in the boat just in case.
I like the chrome with blue on sunny days.
The crawdad color worked well on overcast days.
Good luck.

I have used the little one for white bass, and have caught a few crappie with them too. All from the bank. I like them...
