    Default how to keep jigs from melting/sticking


    what can you use on jigs/worms to keep them from melting and sticking together

    when they come new they have some type of oily film on them does anyone know what this is

    Mineral oil.... Just a drop will do a bunch.

    I spray mine down with cooking spray - keeps them nice and soft.

    baby oil with a drop of anise oil in it works great also. it also puts a cover scent on the baits.

    I've never had that problem since I started keeping my tackle box indoors. We all know what happens if it gets left in the sun....
