    Default NEW TOOL (to me)

    My wife bought me a telescoping 12-ft aluminum pole with some sort of hook on the end. At the time I thought "what the ....". It has become a very valuable tool. It lets me pull the boat in closely to trees w/o any noise and keeps my boat from crashing into the best crappie hangouts. I can tie the rope around trees without getting to close to spook fish. I'm sure it has help me land a few more in the boat.

    You can also use it to pull open a hole in the matted weeds or trash to drop a jig into.

    I use something like it for decoy strings. You can use it for about anything

    Something like that is useful picking up jugs after catfishing (using jugs).

    I was looking at the exact same thing at bass pro shops the other day....I was thinking how neat it would be to keep yourself off peoples docks when the when was blowing the pontoon boat around. But I messed around and got to looking at more stuff and forgot about it.

    i had one of those hooks. i dint use it all that much, so i removed the hook, and put a crappie sized landing net on the end and it made a terrific extenda handle landing net to reach out away from the boat to net fish;
