    Default White caps --Woohoo!!!!!

Yesterday morning I drove by my favorite fishing hole, still iced over.

Yesterday late afternoon I drove by and there were whitecaps!!!!

meaning.... the wind broke up the ice and pushed it to the East side and we're almost at full ice-out. Drove by this morning, it was calm and could see the slabs of ice floating around, but with open, muddy water, I figure I'm gonna be crappie fishing by next weekend. WOOOHOOOOO!

We need to start a crappie trail that runs from LA, "lower Alabama", to where you guys are. It would take several months and a fair amount of dedication. But a man or woman could just fish peak periods from early March into May.

Take your kids hunting and fishing, and you won't be hunting your kids

The trail would have to come through her mid to late May. That's our typical spawning time. Would be fun though.
