    Default Tonneau cover?

I was thinking about getting one of these for my truck. I had heard of Leer, but it looks like there are others who do this as well, like ARE.

Anybody have one of these? Recommendations? What's the approximate cost?

I have had both brands and I prefer the ARE much better. The mechanics in the handle and hinges are much higher quality in my opinion. The only advantage to the Leer is it should be about $100 cheaper. You should look to pay around $750-$800 painted to match and installed.

P.S. I'm 270 pounds and I can walk on my ARE.

I have a Patroit by Swiss.. Can't make it leak even at high pressure car wash. I love it. Around $1000 painted to match and installed on a F-250. (smaller would be less expensive) hardware has held up very well considering that is gets opened/closed ALOT.. I use it almost everyday between fishing, hunting, business and golf.

    Default lund cover

the reason i bought a soft cover is because it can be almost removed for hauling stuff that a hard permanent cover will not.

I have a Retrax for mine. Rolls into a round drum in front like a roll up door. And you can lock it.

Best one out there. And they show it being beat with a 2x4 and not hurting it. I can take mine on or off in 10 minutes.
    Think mine was around $700

I like the way that works! Is it black or do you have to paint it?

    It comes black..
Works great and sure is nice. WE use it to cover our bags when traveling with 4 people. Also haul plywood or what ever. Lay it on the top of the tail gate. And roll it back to what ever your hauling. And it locks it in place.

Several of us have the Undercover top. It is car wash proof and locks up pretty good. Very strong top. We saw 4 men playing cards setting on the Undercover at a boat show. Around $700.
