    Default Hey Billy

I see that you have posted 10 times in the past but I don't remember seeing them. Anyway, it's great to have someone else to report on Kerr.
While your'e at , how about the low down on those ponds in Pickett?
I've heard stories but never been.

Brad, I used to catch nice crappie in the Pickett Reservoir but since the hurricane a few years back I havent caught but a few worth keeping. This might sound crazy but I think a lot of them washed away with all the water that came down. The fish there dont have to fight a lot of current and there was so much water that it knocked a little one lane bridge thats been there probably 50 years off its pilings. Buddy of has caught some nice bass out of Twin Lakes but I dont bass fish so I havent been. There are 2 good lakes in the impact area, Tommaheton and Birchen but with all the training that goes on out there they are only open occasionally. If you ever get a chance to go you need a Pickett permit that you can get at the hardware store in Blackstone. Thats where I live so give me a holler if you get a chance to get up this way. Billy
