Default The Guy From Denmark Was Right

I finally was able to get my little boat back out on Hartwell this past Saturday & it worked like a charm! No problems! Apparently the only problem was that I stopped the motor while it was in gear with the throttle advanced, causing it to lock up in Forward. After moving things manually so it could go back into Neutral, it was good to go again. I had no problems with it at all.

However, I had MAJOR problems with the wind that day. It was howling! White caps to beat the band, & so I stayed in the cove where the boat ramp was located. I only fished a little while, but still haven't caught anything yet. Maybe I'll have better luck next time. But this trip was mainly about getting the boat squared away & I'm delighted to report that all seems to be operating properly.

So I guess the guy from Denmark who answered my question on iboats.com knew what he was talking about after all.
