    Default Headed to Kentucky Lake

    Hello All,

I'm heading down to Ky lake to try my luck at crappie fishing. I'll be down there from Apr. 10 - 14. I wanted to see if anyone from this forum was going to be down there. I have never fished Ky lake before. And can use all the pointers I can get. I'm staying at Wildcat Creek Camp sites. Let me know if your going to be down that way, I would love to put a face with a name.

    Thanks

I go down there a couple times a year. If you go out from wildcat's ramp and make a left into crappie hollow you can't go wrong. There is tons & tons of stick up's there are more on that lake than I have ever seen.

Last year I did pretty good there I stay directly accross the cove from there in the Blood River Campground & Marina. My Good friend has a trailer there year round.

    Default Crappie Time Tennessee

I live in Paris, Tn. I fish West Sandy. Could give you some pointers for that area but I've never fished up near where you're going. You'll be here at the right time I think. Good luck. have fun.

    Exclamation Hey Ed .....

don't forget to read the Crappie Tagging Study on the KDFWR site ( http://www.kdfwr.state.ky.us/navigat...7&NavPath=C101 ) ... if you're going to be at Wildcat Campground, on Blood River, you should be right in the middle of the previous Tagging Study area. Check this report out ..... http://www.kdfwr.state.ky.us/crappie...h=C101C397C398 ........ and check this map out - http://www.kdfwr.state.ky.us/gifs/bloodriver.jpg (so you'll know "where" they're talking about in the preliminary article ) ....... luck2ya .......cp
