I can tell you it will generally be more stable. There's really no speed advantage since your bottleneck is the Internet provider. If you don't have problems with your wireless dropping you off, or being really slow, I'd let it ride.
Board seems to be a whole lot faster. Thanks. I need your opinion. Would I be better off to run some cat5 to my router and ditch my wireless connection?

It really depends on where your wireless router is located in relationship to you and your PC. Wireless is not great through multiple walls. Your PC should have an icon on the lower right that you can mouse over and it'll tell you what your signal strength is. If it's "excellent", then you should not have any problem. I use wireless, but I'm always in the same room as the router.
I'm going thru a wall and a brick chimney and signal strength varies from marginal to good. It seems like it depends on the weather.
