Default I need a GOOD scale

I got a couple of the Rapala lock and weigh scales that both weighed heavy. Both weighed 1lb seven ounces on a true 1 lb weight. Called Normark and they said that with a scale that weighs to 25 lbs the lower weights may not be right. I can see that. Anyone have one they like. Thanks David

I have a Berkeley scale I like. A reliable source at Bass Pro told me when I said I wanted a scale that the Rapala ones are frequently returned. I tend to shy away from items they sell that are on the frequently returned "black list" Although there are some exceptions and everyone's opinion of a product is not the same.

Default Hanging scale extremely acurate, very compact.

I bought one and like it much better than Berkley of which I have had 3.

I bought a scale a couple years ago from Cabelas that was exactly like this one, but it was a 22lb version & black. Very accurate, but do not get them wet!!! I returned 2 after doing so, now Cabelas no longer has them in their catalogs. Mine was called a "Saltier" scale - about $30 if I remember correctly.

    Luck to ya! <,"}/>{ Rippa
Just one more cast, I promise!

Golden Rule made one of their rulers for crappie with length to weight ratio that was close. Do not know if it is still made. It was close enough for just fishing with your buddies but not for tournaments. Saw another ruler at Gander Mountain that had a chart for different fish with crappie too.
