could be Arkabutla. Grenda, Enid, Sardis, & Arkabutla are Corp of Engineers water shed lakes. Each winter they lower the lakes to get ready for spring rains. This helps farms lands in the lower regions from flooding
Twice in the last 2 months I've flown into Memphis from S. Mississippi and just before Memphis there is a lake that is ALMOST DRY! Could this be Arkabutla? I mean this thing is maybe 1/8 its normal size with huge mudflats. What's the deal? Anyone know why it's so low?
