    i am still looking for info from any one who knows how the crappie are bitting around the state park area i am going their next week as in thursday through saturday i am fishing a small turny their and wood like to win it from the info. i get from this site ty .

    I am not real familiar with that particular area, but I am familiar with some of the crappie patterns in that lake. I would look for bridges as one place to fish, I am still catching them around the bridges, and I would also look for staging areas close to spawning areas as the water temp is starting to warm a little and they should be on the move closer to the spawning areas.

    I"M from ohio ,BUT fished there feb 15/16th go out the ramp turn right about two mile down on your right there is a bridge did good there . also stop at the bait shop at the enterance to the state park .the guy is from WIS ,he;ll help out .OR hire him for a day .to show you around .also goose pond is suppose to be good .
