Myself and fishing buddy Dave are planning a trip to Claiborne when, if ever,
the storms stop. Haven't been on that lake in decades and could use some recent reports. I've heard the state put in some artificial reefs some time back, can anyone verify this? We're both avid crappie fans, so the reef sounds like a good deal, if we won't have to wait in line to fish them. Also, where would be the best place to launch? We will be coming from S'port and approaching Claiborne from the south. Any help appreciated!!

Looks like nobody is fishing in N. Louisiana, but I'm still looking for a report. We decided on next Tuesday to fish, in the hopes the lake will have settled after all the July 4th traffic!
