    What weight jig heads work best for tight lineing? And what about colors,coming from Illinois should I buy the hand tied jigs or just use plastic.

    I use a 1/8 jig with plastic for years. Last year changed over to hair jigs, they both work very well @ Sardis. Look for crappie around 10' in standing timber on the edge of creek channels

    Default jigs

    Standard tube colors on Sardis are red/chart., black/chart., almost anything and chart. In clearer water use pink/white, blue/white.

    I'm going down on 3/28 from Mo. and was wondering how you did at Sardis on your trip? Do you suggest another lake on what you may have heard? -Deano
