Well, the fishing here has been slow to fair during the last month. Have been several times to Woods Reservoir, Tims Ford Lake and Normandy Lake. I have been having the most luck backed out away from mostly submerged tree tops in 8 to 14 feet of water using slip bobbers and minnows. Having some luck with flipping a jig, but nothing consistant. The crappie seem to have settled into their summer pattern. If you get on them, you do really good, but getting on them is sometimes difficult , especially with all the rain lately. The lake i got back from a little bit ago is up at least 4 feet and the water is really brackish and trashy. The other lake i like alot, Woods Reservoir, is a relatively small lake with a flat bottom, the Crappie seem to suspend over bottom structure out in the main channel ( what little bit of one there is) and prefer tightlining minnows while slow drifting. Just a report from Tennessee. Everyone take care.
