My fishing buddy Dave and myself spent about 4 hours jig fishing before the storms drove us off the water. The crappie were scattered and hard to find, but we managed to find a few around trees and tops, and only one at each spot. Black and chartruce seemed the only color they wanted. The water is still high and falling, and clearing. Our total stringer was three keepers and two nice bluegills. Nothing to brag about, but we enjoyed the time on the lake.

Good luck, tight lines, big crappie....
