Fishing was fair Tuesday thru Friday Oct 2 - 5. The cool mornings and clouds helped. By Saturday, it had really warmed up and blue skies prevailed. Fishing fell off exponentially Out came the skiers and lice. We packed it up.

Water temp was low 70’s in the am and mid to upper 70’s by late pm. We caught fishes in 8 to 15 foot of water. Lot of the fish we caught was fat and thick and stocky. These fishes would not fit in the “checker” so we let them go. We can get them next spring.

Honey was floating minnows (as usual) and I was Ky rigged with minnows and jigs. Jigs didn’t do well. Most of the fishes were taken around structure of some type.

The mornings on the lake were beautiful, The water was baby butt smooth and the weather was great. I forgot my camera or I woulda had more pics. haha

Life is good. This retirement thing, I like!

This is on main board. I forget to post here.
Things will change in a couple of days here. Cold front moving in Tuesday. That will shut their jaw a day of two.
