Default michaels 10 lb pond bass...

michael went to a pond one evening late last week and caught this heavyweight 10 pounder from the bank fishing a 8" lizard. i think he said it was a watermelon color. he released the fish in another pond he fishes thats overpopulated with small brim. he took the measurements and is gonna have a replica mount made of it. he recently bought a 30 gallon greyline bait tank and kept the fish alive for a day till he could get it released. its not the best quality photo as these boys are better fishermen than they are photogs. :D

While I am not a bass fishing fan, I am glad to see that he did release the fish! Great job!!

yeah, michaels more into C&R pond bass and learning nightstalking and striper fishing. hes hoping to have another shot at it next spring when shes loaded with eggs and a little heavier. hes fairly well hooked on striper fishing and is in the process of rigging his toon up for fishing for em. he told me last night he's seeing a lot of striper fishing in his future this upcoming winter. .the taxidermist told him the bass would push 11 pounds if it had been caught in the spring.
