    Default White vinegar

I bought some fish fry at Bass Pro Shop, the package said to soak fillets in white vinegar before breading. I tried it and it was great ! oil @ 365-375. Soaked fillets in fridge for about 5 min. before breading and cooking. Wondering if anyone has tried it.

Haven't tried the vinegar, but usually coat mine with regular mustard in a large ziplock for about 30 min. before I coat and fry them. No complaints from anyone yet...

I always put in a little white vinegar along with salt in the water to soak the crappie in while I refrigerate them for a while. I especially like using the vinegar when I am soaking catfish fillets as it seems to improve the taste.
