Drifter and Southern Pro are essentially the same. Drifter is their direct retail whereas Southern Pro is the manufacuring wholesaler. So, if you've used Southern Pro you've used Drifter. Lots of plastics are being poured here in Northeast Arkansas. Not only is Southern Pro and Drifter here in Northeast Arkansas, so is Mizmo and Mid-South and a couple others nearby if I remember correctly.

Both of the above mentioned companies make soft plastic jigs and baits.

Midsouth makes super jigs (tubes) and jig heads. I just ordered 800 tubes the other day & 200 of their 1/16 oz. minnow head jig heads. They have a #2 hook which I like. I can slide my thumb down the shank inside the bend and pop the hook out. They took their website off line about 6 months ago. You can still order by phone. Phone # is 870 935 4914. I have ordered Mr Crappie line from Monks and recieved very prompt service from him too. BPS was always out of stock in their Orlando store.

Mid South jigs. They are super nice folks. I see them at the Jackson, Tn boat show every Feb. I like their pencil tail jigs (kinda like pan assins). I think Grizzly Gigs sells the midsouth super jigs.

The owners are elderly folks (not unlike yours truly). They (the Hudsons) are super people.

The pencil tail you are talking about, I am assuming they are like the Crappie Stingers that Southern Pro make? Only used them once and done well with them. Here is a link for them.

And you can buy the Mid South jigs from Grizzly. You are correct.
Here is the link to them.
