Thumbs up The Jig Is Up

Oh yeah, The jig is up! I went to Ohio last week and fished at Mogadore Reservoir. Caught 34 Keeper Crappies in about two hours as well as numerous bluegill and two catfish on this fly. For spinning, or spin-casting gear, the ultimate artificial bait for crappie is the ubiquitous "Shipahoy 41 Clouser Marabou jig", in small sizes. No other lure comes close. Use #4 0r #6 pound line. Fish under a small float.

This is what was working that day.

    Temperature: 82 degrees
    Water: Calm
    Sky: Overcast
    Waves: Calm
    Depth: 5 feet
    Scent: Wax worm tipped
    Hold your jaw: Just right:D

It's good to be back home though.

If you believe, no proof is necessary. If you don't believe then no proof is sufficient.
