Mark and I went to Wateree Thursday night. We started off near the honey hole with calm winds. The winds were supposed to be light and variable but after about an hour it started blowing and wouldn't stop. The bite was slow for the first hour. We picked up a couple of 4-5lbers. Then the bite picked up but they were small football size stripers that we threw back. And then the white perch bite picked up. We stayed busy most of the night with the wind and the footballers. We ended up catching 23 stripers, 12 white perch, 2 catfish, 1 largemouth bass and 1 crappie. It wasn't to bad a night of fishing. It's always a nice night of fishing when you catch your limit!!
