May sound strange...haven't fished to amount to anything in almost 4 wks. NO RAIN...Reelfoot low...fishing VERY SLOW!! Just had some decent rain the last few days. This should help elavate the oxygen level.

I haven't fished in a few weeks. Too hot and dry and my outboard is toast.

I was just wondering what the fishing was like up around Springville.I am going to the Big Sandy duck blind draws on the 4th and was thinking about making an over night stay and fish while I am up there. So maybe I wont be driving up there for a total bust.Thought maybe I would be able to get some fish since I know my luck on drawing for a blind probably wont pay off.

sorry spider rig, but most of the posts i see from west TN folks are on the mississippi posts. most all the folks i know from Tipton Co on down go to sardis and Arkabutla. I've only fished the foot in the winter and early spring and always struggle for a mess of fish at big sandy, all the chutes and other MS river waters seem fillied up with those flying carp and more gar than you can shake a stick at. Oh yea Glenn Springs is still filled with 9" crappie from what i here. Please let us know if you can help to find fish close to home the gas prices are killing me. Good Luck and God bless.

I am dead, Does that count?
Still not able to walk or get out. And let me tell you it sucks..almost 5 weeks of this stuff.
And Morphine 6 times per day does not make it any better.
But it can't last all year.

    Fishpole,
I was told by a local game warden that they are thinking about lowering the size limit for Glenn Springs in the near future. They are either going to make it an 8" minimum or do away with the size limit all together. I wouldn't mind fishing down there b/c it's real close to me...
