    Default Big Sandy Oct. Fishing

Looking for some general input. No honey hole info. My daughter and I are fishing the Crappie U.S.A. Classic. I usually use one pole and jig fish. She uses jig and minnow combo. Should we look to fish shallow or deep? Come from Ohio and are used to fishing fairly shallow lakes. Been reading these posts for a couple of years. First time asking for help. Not allowed to use guide service on the lake but can ask questions. Thanks

    You can go here: http://www.parislanding.com/fishing_report.htm
They have archived Steve McCadams' reports and you can check from past years. When it gets a bit closer, we'll try to help you out.

Should be about 4 ft lower 354.5 at that time. Summer pool is 359 to 359.5. It has been running about a foot low this month. No rain

Thanks everyone for input. Just getting impatient with the summer doldrums. We met a nice couple at the Regional in Decatur Ill. and the said they fished the river all the time. I neglected to get their address. Willl keep an eye on the Tennessee board as time gets closer. Thanks again. Papawfish
