Magellan Explorist 500

I got one for my B-day (5/28), and a Mapsend USA Lake maps of the South with it. My preloaded SD card yesterday was showing red lines in a form of a grid. (Has anybody ever heard of this happening ) in some of the squares the detail map would work, and others it would only show the base map. The technical support person could not understand why it was doing that, so they are sending me another preloaded SD card of the southern USA lakes. :D The red lines would go away when I turned of the detail map (SD card), and use just the base map. Does anybody else have the explorist with any Mapsend maps, and do you like it?

I have an explorist 600 and would not fish without it. I do not have the preloaded sd card for lakes, but I do upload from my computer detail maps of areas I fish using mapsend direct software. I use it all the time not only fishing but driving as well.....TD
