    Thumbs up Jpp

They're still there for the taken all its takes is a little effort. Caught 57 total, Kept 30, less than 6 hours. Threw back 5 or 6 that were barely legal. 8 - 12 feet of water 6 feet deep all 6 colors I had out. Going back tomorrow!

Little slower today. Caught 33, kept 21. Little deeper 9 to 14 feet I'm assuming that the clear skies this morning pushed them out a little. Waters getting really warm 79 degrees, they're going to move out real soon.

    Default I'm not as lucky

I haven't had as much luck. It sounds like I'm fishing way to shallow.

I'll hit them tommorrow and see if deeper water helps.

I'm out in a small Jon boat so it kind of limits how far out I can go. quackermasher, any advice on where I should be going at JPP? I have been putting in over by the reserve base (sorry I can't remember the name of the ramp) which I think is in Smyna. I live in Lascassas so comming over on Jefferson Pike is the route I usually take.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Sboston, I've been fishing anywhere from Stewerts Creek to Long hunter state park. Seems like flats near deep breaks is the ticket staying on the flats in 10 - 15 feet of water. I spider rig on a War Eagle so I cover lots of water. Hope this helps a little.

Getting tougher every day. Today caught 30, kept 22. Nice fish but harder to find. Caught some in 9 feet and others in 18 feet. Oh well might try normandy on Sunday and then hang it up for a while, freezers getting full and I'm tired of cleaning fish!!

    Default Thanks for the info

    quackermasher,

Thanks for the info. So far I have no crappie in the freezer and I envy you!

A buddy from work has offered to take me out Sunday, hopefully I can break the loosing streak.
