I know of crappie beign caught in the trees there. Usually I would say those places are better for gills, and bass. But I know of crappie in the trees there, when they are in the trees of course!
Anyone ever fish the Big or Little Starve area? I'm headed to Reelfoot and I am looking for a new area to fish. I hate to boat all the way out there and be disapointed when I get there. I usually fish in Buck Basin.
Thanks.

KF,
You can also catch some pretty good crappie in the pads in those areas as well. As WTC said, that place is known better for its gillies than crappie normally. I heard as well this week that they have been catching some on the trees in Little Starve on black jigs.

"I fish...therefore I lie." Where's the Copenhagen?
Thanks. Sounds like a new adventure for me. I'll drown some crickets while I'm back there. I also bought some Johnson silver minnows to throw in those Lilly pads at Reelfoot. I have never fished a spoon in Tenn. but I will on this trip. Thanks again.
