    Default Blakemore Reel Magic

Saw a video at Cabelas for this stuff. Jimmy Houston talked like it was the best stuff an outdoorsman could ever have on the boat.
For those of you that have used it what say you?

I say it a great product, just don't buy it from BPS as they sell the pump bottle and that is not the same as the aerosol at all! It's completely different as I had always used the aerosol and bought some from BPS and it sucked so I called Blakemore to ask about it and they told me why it was not the same product at all.

I keep it on had all the time and have used it for many years.

    Default Silicone Spray

I used to use it but I now have the Industrial Strength version of Silicone Spray. It is a bigger aerosol can for alot less money.
We use the silicone spray for our automated robotics at work and man everything just slides smoothly just like my line now.
    Try it!!!

I use that too on every plug on my boat and more, but I use the Reel Magic on my line in the boat. The big can of silicone stays at home.

    Default It works but...

I dont feel it is very effective once you start wetting your line constantly. Espically for a baitcaster if you spary it before you use it. Ist to much trouble to me to keep spraying. I very seldom use it.

I second the big can of silicon spray. Reel Magic is $5 other stuff is $2 for a can 3x as big.

I'm with the other guys on this one. I bought a can only to find out I already had 3 cans of the industrial version in my garage. Once dry it's very slippery. It's all silicone lube and any of them will do. spray it anywhere you like once it's dry it's invisible and leaves no residue.

You can spray everything. I spray the line, reel, and the rod. It helps the line not have as much memory also. I like it. I may have to convert to the silicone spray after seeing some of the other comments.
