I got out for about 3 hours this morning. Caught about 30 crappie, 10 bass one of which pushed three pounds, and two buzzards. Nine of the crappie froze to death in my cooler.

Depth: 2-12 feet deep. Males were shallow, females were generally deep. They appear to still be spawning, but it'll be over in a couple weeks.

Water temp: 65°

The wind drove me off the lake at 10. I had to leave the fish biting.

Bait: Red/chartreuse and plain chartreuse tubes. They seemed to favor the plain jigs more. I think it was because the water was bit clearer than normal.
